CHINESE SILK MUSEUM

As part of the Chinese Silk Museum’s exhibition held towards of 2019, we were to commissioned to offer our own interpretation of traditional Qipao . The garment was made using off cuts of bamboo silk, layered inside silk organza to reference the silk of a traditional Qipao. We chose the colour white as often seen in traditional Western wedding culture.
